Hi leighton, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
my music career started off back in highschool. doing freestyles during lunch or having a laugh with friends making diss tracks. eventually i started to fall in love with the process and started to find my lane, bringing me to where i am now
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
it’s not always been easy. there was a point in time i was starting to see some real numbers, but then life and work got in the way and i stopped for a few years. when i decided to come back the music industry was completely different and i had to almost entirely rebuild

My name is S T O N E, and i make music. i’m known for being in the dallas underground music scene from crowd favorites like “Backseat” and “Runitback!” I’m most proud of the brand i’ve created within myself and being a part of a co creates label called “strictly entertainment” alongside Marsh Productions, Dell psycho, and Year 3K.
What does success mean to you?
Looking at what you’ve created, and knowing you’ve done your best work, always evolving. the numbers don’t always matter in success, but the message you can spread to the people that listen
