Lilly, Director of Education and Founder committed her time and dedication to creating Blade Craft Barber Academy for 3 years. Creating a schedule that appeased to her full-time position as a barber at The Gents Place in Frisco and capable to maintain a busy schedule of tailored shave events which provided her the financials to create Blade Craft. Loyal family, clients, and friends filled these shave events with small to large donations from purchasing exceptional straight razor shaves and Blade Craft swagg, apparel.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have faced many obstacles being a young and female entrepreneur realizing that it isn’t as easy as it looks to be the General Contractor for my own buildout. After many let downs with General Contractors and time delays, I realized the tasks were meant for me to tackle and complete ON TIME.

Blade Craft is a diversified and eclectic Barber Academy that focuses on the education and training of future licensed barbers. Focusing on tailored men’s haircutting services and straight razor shaves Blade Craft is definitely known for the detail put into the quality of services. The intensive amount of training that Blade Craft offers for its future barbers details everything from levels of customer service to the simple steps of feel, stretch, shave. Blade Craft also markets towards a tailored clientele who enjoys receiving premium grooming services that include men’s facials, shampoo, and conditioners.
