Meet Linda Gamble Camp

Today we’d like to introduce you to Linda Gamble Camp.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Linda Gamble. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
“For of those to whom much is given, of him shall be much required.” Luke 12:48

I have had many blessings in my art career. In the late 70s, I started exhibiting my art and teaching private art lessons. Some of my early students are adult, professional, visual artists. I also taught art in independent school districts for over 28 years. For many years, I was a judge for the State Fair of Texas’ children’s art division.

I have been blessed with a wonderful family. My art career has been enhanced by the daily support of my husband of 52 years. Therefore, in my paintings, I plant creative seeds. To share the joy of flowers growing and the peace as we view clouds above. These seeds are shaping and developing paintings of children playing and family enjoying quality times together.

Has it been a smooth road?
I embrace obstacles and challenges as stepping stones to my success. They are detours placed in my path to aid me in choosing unchartered, visual paths. My choices aid in smooth paths for my painting creative seeds to grow.

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
www.gamblecampoilpaintings.com is my website where I sell my one-of-a-kind unique oil paintings. I feature different artworks, from abstract to realistic everyday activities. I am grateful when viewers choose from my collections and give my paintings forever homes.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I am excited about everything in my artistic world.
