Hi Lindsay, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Buckaroo Celebrations started with a simple idea: celebrations should feel unforgettable and memories should last a lifetime! What began 18 years ago as creating diaper cakes for fun and small party pieces slowly evolved into something much bigger as my family grew. Especially when people kept asking, “Can you do my whole setup?”
I realized I didn’t just enjoy decorating; I loved designing experiences! So I bet on myself. I built a brand that’s bold, playful, and full of personality (just like the name suggests). From baby showers to full event installations, Buckaroo Celebrations has grown into a creative space where details matter, budgets can stay friendly, and every event feels custom.
I truly wouldn’t have achieved this without my husband’s constant support and my kids, who have happily been my very first “clients” and test models over the years. They’ve been part of this journey from day one.
Today, I’m still in kick start mode, but I’m not just setting up parties; I’m building moments, growing a brand, and showing other women and entrepreneurs alike that creativity can become something powerful. And we’re just getting started!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like many small business owners, one of my biggest challenges has been balancing time. Especially while growing a family and a brand at the same time. Logistics have also been a learning curve, from transporting large balloon installs to figuring out how to scale efficiently while staying within budget for myself and my client.
But I actually see those challenges as part of the excitement. This year, I’m focused on improving my setup systems and transportation so I can provide even quicker, smoother installations and expand my services. Every obstacle has pushed me to think bigger, work smarter, and level up!

At Buckaroo Celebrations, I specialize in custom party styling and balloon installations for baby showers, birthdays, business events, school setups, milestone celebrations, and everything in between. What started with diaper cakes has grown (and still growing) into full event setups. From statement balloon arches to detailed, themed décor that transforms a space into an experience.
I’m known for being creative but practical. I care about the details, but I also understand real-life budgets. I love showing clients that you don’t have to overspend to create something beautiful and memorable. Every setup is customized to fit the family, the theme, and the vibe they’re going for.
What I’m most proud of is building something from scratch that reflects both my personality and my values. I’m proud that my kids see their mom building a brand. I’m proud that clients trust me with their biggest moments. And what truly sets me apart is that I don’t just decorate — I care! I treat every event like it’s for my own family, and that energy shows in the final result.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is growing up full of energy and imagination. Feeling invincible and I playing hard! Even roughhousing with the boy Nextdoor who would later become my husband. We were competitive, fearless, and always creating our own fun. Looking back, that same bold, playful spirit is still a big part of who I am today.
