Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Campbell.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
The love I have for photography started when I was a junior in high school, but when I graduate, I actually started off as a model before I even picked up a camera. When I was modeling, I wasn’t really feeling it so one day, I was taking my friend’s pictures, and she told me I really had an eye and that I should start taking pictures, so I actually started taking pictures on my phone just to get a feel for things and I loved it! So, my loving family bought me a camera for my birthday and I took off from there and I love it!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Photography isn’t an easy thing, just leaning the ends and out. Also, just trying to get people to practice with sometimes things wouldn’t go as plan ! I would always doubt myself saying I wasn’t good enough, cause my pictures weren’t as good as other photographers. So, it wasn’t always easy but I just kept practicing and learning new techniques. Try to learn new things every day. A photographer isn’t black and white! There is always something new to learn!

Lisamarievisuals is a photographer company that strives to bring out creativity! It’s not just photographs, I see it as art and it brings out people’s personalities and a smile on someone’s face! I started this business not one cause I enjoy doing it but I want people to feel comfortable to come out of their shells and express their selves, I’m proud to be a female photographer! I’ll take your vision and make it come to life!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
There are going to be big changes with Lisamarievisuals, I’m working on a studio with a very creative set and also offer classes for kids that are interested in a photographer.
