Today we’d like to introduce you to Macie Agerlid.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am the media director and photographer for the band “Flight By Nothing.” I also do portraits. I have been with Flight By Nothing for the past two years as their photographer. I was friends with some of the band members before they became a band but we’re all like family now.
Has it been a smooth road?
The biggest obstacle has to be lighting. Some venues have sufficient stage lighting while others it is rather difficult to shoot. I have overcome the challenge of lighting and can successfully shoot in bright and low lit sceneries.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Macie Nichole Photography – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I think the thing that sets me apart from other photographers is that I have an idea of what I want to shoot before I even arrive on set or to a venue. Instead of just pointing and shooting I go through a thought process so I am able to creatively capture the moments of passion that I am witnessing.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
The thing I LOVE about Dallas is the creativity! I have been to and shot at different locations in Deep Ellum and it is such a gem. From the murals on the walls to the people, it could not get any more exciting in my opinion. The thing I like the least about Dallas has got to be the traffic.
