Meet Madison Coombs of Etiket Collective

Today we’d like to introduce you to Madison Coombs.

Hi Madison , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
From the time I was nine years old, I knew I was meant to be an entrepreneur. I vividly remember sitting in the backseat of my parents’ car in Chicago when the thought first came to me. I had no idea the shape that would take , but there was this inner knowing that I was meant to build something of my own — and that knowing never left me.

I went on to study creative advertising in Toronto and spent a few years working client-side, learning what it meant to build a brand from the inside out. But eventually, I wanted more — more depth, more freedom, and more growth.
At the time, I was actually applying for corporate jobs in Marketing. One afternoon, while having lunch with my mom, she looked at me and said, “Why don’t you start your own company on the side?” That was the moment I decided to go all in — and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made.

Etiket Collective is now a full-service marketing studio. We love working with founders and business owners in spaces like wellness, beauty, aesthetics, healthcare, and real estate — all people who care deeply about what they’re building. My role is to meet them where they are, create a custom strategy based on their needs, and take the weight off their shoulders so they can focus on what they do best.

I firmly believe in starting with what you have. With the right support, every brand can evolve — not just in how it looks, but in how it connects, shows up, and grows.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, it’s been a really good journey — but like anything worth building, it takes time. That’s been the biggest lesson: learning to have patience in the process and staying anchored in your why, especially during the slower seasons. If you can hold onto those two things, everything else starts to fall into place.
I’m constantly fine-tuning different parts of the business — evolving, refining, and sometimes unlearning what no longer works. It keeps me on my toes, but it also keeps the work exciting. There’s always something new to grow into.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Etiket Collective is a full-service marketing agency built for entrepreneurs who care deeply about what they’re creating. We do everything from social media content creation and management to branding, web design, and photography — offering a true 360° approach that helps our clients show up with clarity and confidence across every touchpoint.

What sets us apart is how personal our work is. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all marketing. Every brand is in a different season, with different needs, goals, and pressures — so we customize everything. Whether someone is just getting started, scaling quickly, or completely reimagining their brand, we meet them where they are and help build what’s next.

I’m most proud of how our work not only makes our clients look good — it actually works. We create strategies that are both beautiful and intentional, with storytelling at the core. Our goal is to help our clients grow their visibility, feel supported, and ultimately become more profitable.

At its heart, Etiket is about partnership — I love connecting with every single client, hearing their story, and crafting an intentional strategy to bring their brand to life and tell their story.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Honestly, marketing is changing so quickly — but I think over the next 5 to 10 years, it’s going to be all about real connection. People want to do business with brands that feel human, honest, and that really get them. So it’s not just about pumping out more content; it’s about telling stories that actually matter.

Personalization is going to be huge. No more one-size-fits-all — brands have to meet people where they are, and show up in a way that feels authentic and true to who they are.

AI is going to change the game for sure — we’re already seeing that. I think it’ll help us create and analyze smarter and faster. But at the end of the day, it’s still that creativity and genuine emotion that’ll make the difference.

Like with any business, the brands that succeed will be the ones willing to adapt and pivot as things evolve — staying flexible while still staying true to their core values and vision.

I’m really excited to help brands navigate all this — to keep it real, keep it thoughtful, and build something that lasts.
