Today we’d like to introduce you to Malik Smith.
Malik, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
It started off with me just personally having lots of seen it was really hard for me to just get through struggling every single day for the past for five years but two years ago I started modeling and since then I’ve been heavily focusing on my acting and streaming career. Two years ago I was spending my 21st birthday in my car sleeping at a Walmart ever since then I just decided for myself that I never want to be in that situation again.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I was living out on the streets for about a year and a half it was very rough I had to go a lot of days without eating I was working at a taco cabana making barely in the morning and spending most of that money on getting me a car and spending nights in a hotel as much as I could. Before I have my car I would sleep outside of the auto store of the Walmart I would eat sausage burritos from McDonald’s morning and I will just save as much money as possible.

So I started modeling and acting here recently the past couple of months I was in the APX fashion show for the summer collection and I modeled for the Designer Dallas. And now I have been focusing on Streaming and acting I just recently started streaming on twitch I stream video games of all sorts and acting-wise I haven’t necessarily gotten any experience yet but I am looking as much as possible for every single opportunity available to meet streaming and acting I just recently started streaming on twitch I stream video games of all sorts and acting-wise I haven’t necessarily gotten any experience yet but I am looking as much as possible for every single opportunity available to me.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
What qualities I feel like it is most important to me is my determination and my strive to just make sure that I Succeed in a matter what I want to taste success no matter what it takes I don’t want to go back to being on the streets again, so I plan on working as hard as I can to make a good name for myself.
