Meet Mallery Tuck

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mallery Tuck. Them and their team share their story with us below:

CHEF MALLERY TUCK 

Chef Mallery Tuck has more than 35 years of cooking experience that scales from catering to fine dining with all genres of cuisine. After being classically trained at Texas State College in 1986, Chef Tuck starting his professional career in 1987 at the Dallas Holiday Inn downtown.Where in just 3 years, he excelled to becoming the Hotel’s youngest executive chef of the company.

He has worked with the best in the business of cuisine, where he did his apprentice at the Mansion on Turtle Creek under the culinary leaderships of “The Father of Southwestern Cuisine,” Chef Dean of The Ritz-Carlton Dallas. 

In more recent years, Chef Tuck has focused on corporate catering to luxury apartment communities throughout the DFW Metroplex. He caters brunches, dinners, happy hours, and pool parties exclusively to their residents. This luxury catering business started on August 12, 2012 and is still thriving today. 

We are in the building stage of our newest endeavor, The Dream Kitchen, and the targeted completion date is in time for our 10th anniversary August 12, 2022. 

We continue to stand by our quote “If you can imagine it, Chef Tuck can make it happen!” 

Chef Tuck has been married for 35 years to his business manager and mixologist, Yolonda “Cookie” Tuck. Together, they have two sons, Mallery Tuck, Jr., and Malik. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not always been an easy road for me starting my business, but we have persevered with God. He has led us to make it through 10 years and through a Pandemic, we are still standing. We are excited and looking forward to the bright future ahead. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are super foodies and love providing spectacular food for a fair price. We do what we say we are going to do with consistency in a timely manner. 

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I am a lover of animals most recently adding ducks to my farm.
