Today we’d like to introduce you to Marie Stewart.
Marie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started this group and non-profit organization in 2016 after my grandmother died. My goal is to help people understand that you can be and do whatever and whoever you’d like to be and do. I offer a wide range of services from resume building, donations, community service, events, and so much more. I would like to show people you are not alone. My goal is to find more people in the DFW area to collaborate with so that we can make a greater impact. Let’s make a change one life at a time!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely has not been smooth. I went thru depression for a while, which caused me to put a hold on things. I’m back going now!
We’d love to hear more about your organization.
Well, I’m most proud because it’s in honor of someone special to me. It’s something that I’m passionate about and I get a thrill out of. It warms my heart to know that I’ve helped someone at no cost to them. I offer a wide range of services from resume building, donations, community service, events, and so much more. My services are completely FREE.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was very inquisitive, very intrigued at how things worked. I played almost every sport offered in high school. Always uplifting other people, I dressed very colorfully that brought out a conversation in everyone I encountered. That was my spiritual high, making others laugh.
