Today we’d like to introduce you to Mario Brown.
Mario, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
From the depths of Williamston, North Carolina, Brown and Sons Construction has over ten years of experience in home repair and remodel. Newly relocated to Dallas in 2014. Owner (CEO) Mario Brown learned from his father Randolph Brown, both with backgrounds of engineering from building bridges, storefronts, schools and banks. Mario holds a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management and is a full-time Engineer. I grew up playing with not toys but wrenches, hammers and drills. My mom caught me at the age of seven, trying to jack lift a car so I could change a tire. She knew then I was a hands-on kinda guy. From that day forward, I was glued to my dad. My free time consisted of home repair, remodel and building.
After relocating to Dallas in 2014, I started passing out flyers in parking lots, mailing flyers and door-knocking in my neighborhood. After gaining the trust from many in the surrounding area’s, Brown and Sons soon blossomed.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Smooth Roads are not always possible. But we are strong enough to accept all challenges. Although Brown and Sons is flourishing, in the construction industry, there is always a labor shortage. Like many, we must remain more competitive.

To my wife, Janel Brown, she is the backbone to Brown and Sons Construction. She manages the books, website, company design, logo and much more. To my laborers-teammates, they all work so hard, especially in the Texas heat and cold. They are dedicated to making clients feel heard while delivering turn-key results.
