Meet Mario Cesar Ramirez of HA’ Paleteria in Plano Texas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mario Cesar Ramirez.

Mario, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Two Decades Ago while attending A community College I started my first business, a Mexican Bakery, at the beginning of the millennium I begun to expand in the food industry with a Taquería (there are five) la Paloma brand and Grande Burrito are the restaurant brands, 2014 I wrote my first book that later it was converted in a workshop for the Hispanic community to encourage them how to start your business in the US.

In 2019 started a very unique crafted Ice cream concept. We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been a nice ride, some of the main struggles:
Educate your audience to new flavors and unique concepts (slow process).
Shortness of high-quality labor, less immigrants, coming from Mexico less workers for the food and hospitality industry.
Take your business from an underground economy to mainstream.

HA’ Paleteria has the most unique pop and Icecream menu flavor like; flower cactus, Passion Fruit, Rose Petals, Ferrero Rocher, mango flavors all made from scratch, Mexican pops and Ice cream are making a real transition and cross over into the US market and we are leading that role in a very elegant and dignified Way.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our goal is to expand the brand regionally and have our Ice cream and pops in some of the best Restaurants in Dallas on their dessert menu.
