Meet Mark Jones of Mortgage with Mark

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Jones.

Hi Mark, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been in sales my whole life and graduated from college with a Bachelor in Marketing and a minor in Advertising. I also love meeting new people and building relationships.

I’m originally from Louisiana and moved to Dallas in 2019 for better career opportunities. Once in Texas I was approached via LinkedIn to apply for a mortgage loan originator role. I applied for my license, studied for the test, passed with flying colors, and the rest is history. I love what I do and being able to help people’s dreams of homeownership come true.

I feel that it’s my drive, ambition, determination, and love of helping others that got me to where I am today.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
In the beginning, as a fresh new loan officer it was definitely a learning experience. To help overcome the obstacles I learned everything even the processors role so that I would know the process from beginning to end. This not only helped me overcome the challenges but also better service my clients.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a mortgage loan officer and my business name is Mortgage with Mark.

I do residential and commercial loans for individual buyers and investors. I specialize in VA loans, first time homebuyers, and hard to close loans such as those for the self employed.

What sets me apart from other loan officers is my dedication to the realtors and buyers I serve. I don’t do this just for a paycheck. I genuinely want to see everyone that wants a place of their own obtain one and I will do all I can to help them achieve that goal. I am also honest and transparent and if it is not the right time for someone to buy because it may put them in a bad situation financially, I will let let them know that as well. I consider myself an adviser and partner to the realtors and buyers I work with and want them to win in all aspects.

Brand wise, I am most proud of my work ethic and the relationships I cultivate. I am also very big on community involvement and attend various community events. To that extent, I am a member of various organizations such as National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA).

What I want readers to know about my brand is that whether you are a realtor or a buyer, I am here for you and will be there from application to closing, I believe in educating realtors and buyers so they make the best decisions. I feel that an educated buyer is an empowered buyer and I want all of those who work with me to feel like they gained more than just a loan office but also a friend in the home buying process.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
If you’re a realtor looking for a lender to partner with I’d love to speak with you and if you’re a buyer looking to buy a home please feel free to reach out!

I am able to work with various types of buyers and get loans approved that most cannot.
