I attended BL International Beauty School in Arlington, TX. I became a licensed cosmetologist in 2013 and worked as a hair stylist for one year. In 2014, I found my passion for the art of eyelash extensions. I have been exploring and perfecting my craft ever since. I worked very smart to become the best and continue to educate myself to stay on top of the game to offer the best in the industry. From 2014-2016, I worked as an employee at various lash businesses learning the in’s and outs of the lash industry. In 2016, I decided to go for it and became independent and built my own brand. I knew this was not going to be easy and it would take some sacrifices but I had the confidence and motivation to push forward. After going through the different phases of being an employee to becoming my own boss and now a lash educator helping another fall in love with the artistry of lashing by offering training one on one, private or group classes. I’m so blessed to do what I love every day, to be able to share my art and passion is priceless.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, it wasn’t a smooth ride but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved. We all know that building a brand has ups and downs. but always believe in yourself no matter what and make a difference.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Beyoutiful Lash Studio story. Tell us more about the business.
Beyoutiful Lash Studio is located in the heart of Arlington, TX. A place where you can have some me-time in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere that provides an experience rather than a service. I am the only lash artist in Arlington and DFW area that focuses on maintaining the integrity of my client’s lashes by giving you damage free, too good to be true eyelash extensions. Beautiful lashes are worn by a wide range of women who want to look effortlessly beautiful by simplifying their beauty routine. I specialize in natural looking eyelash extension without compromising the health of the lash which is super important to me. I consider myself a lash architect and the original lash is my foundation. Using years of experience to determine which weight and length to use plus my own techniques, I ensure not to damage the client’s lashes. Eyelash extensions are created with different diameters for different purposes. The extensions may be made from materials including mink, synthetic, etc. I personally don’t use mink, because I believe in animal rights. I’m not afraid to say no to a client if I determine they are not a good candidate for the service, of course always explaining the reasons as to why. I think it’s very important to educate the client to better help them understand this is a process and an Art form. What I believe sets me apart from others, is that I specialize in Natural looking eyelash extensions because I believe that God made you BeYouTiful the way you are and I get to be a part of your beauty when I do my Art.
