Today we’d like to introduce you to MarQuita Erwin.
MarQuita Erwin is a 33 years old (Owner/Master Stylist) of Hair Glory Studios. Hair Glory Studios was established on November 19, 2016. The vision was given to her from 1 Corinthians 11:15 (A Woman’s Hair is her Glory) which the name Hair Glory Studio was created.
Mar’Quita has been a licensed Cosmetologist since January 2009. Her dream was temporarily put on hold for 2 years, due to her son born being 3 1/2 months premature. She started out by working for Pro Cuts as a manager/ stylist working at a base pay and commission pay. She worked her way up the chain. She also moved on to work at Sport Clips doing clipper cuts only. She worked there until God said it was time for change where she worked at Shear Decadence Salon working on a 50/50 commission pay. She continued her education By taking color classes, cutting classes and Extensions classes. She is now certified in Brazilian Blowouts, Color, and Hair Extensions! But she still wasn’t done working. She later moved on to working for herself paying booth rent at Curl Up and Dye salon for a year was her clientele doubled in number. She waited on God and took the leap of faith by starting her own salon Hair Glory Studios where she is currently working. May 2018, God spoke to her to close the first studio and open a second larger studio. She very optimistically endeavored to do what God spoke to her and by His grace, she is very successful and looking for her next venture as an entrepreneur and business owner and educator. She gives back to the community by doing free hairstyles and cuts to the needy and children. In obedience to God, she is now a Salon Owner and a Master Stylist, where she is diligently working towards creating a successful franchise.

Thank God, the road to success has been smooth because I have God as the head of everything I do.

I specialize in Natural Hair, precision cuts, reconstruction of hair, color, healthy hair and making clients feel beautiful. I love to make clients feel confident in themselves. I also educate my clients on how to maintain healthy hair. I am very proud of how all the clients trust me and they leave out smiling. I’m set apart because of my professionalism, Christian based environment, and the timeliness of each service rendered.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My future plans are to grow into a franchise and soon open a beauty school.
