Today we’d like to introduce you to Marvin Blue.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have always been a fan of photography. My love came to fruition while I was serving in the army. I signed up for a few classes and the rest is history. I started my company while I was living in Arizona working as a high school teacher to bring in an additional income. Shortly later, I transitioned full time because there was so much opportunity as a photographer and entrepreneur that I could not pass up on.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There have been ups and downs since the beginning. I am proud to say there have been more ups than downs. The biggest challenge is getting out of my social comfort zone and opening up more with other professionals.

Blue Scope Photography specialize in numerous aspects of photography but gained its popularity and growth through wedding and portrait photography. There is a hands on approach we take with all of our clients and the goal is to create memories that will be cherished forever.

I have had numerous mentors and friends that have supported me since the very beginning. If I had to choose one person, I would say my wife gets the most credit. She have been my rock through all this. She gave me the inspiration that I could walk away from being a high school teacher to a successful business owner. She motivates me to be a great photographer and leader as well as encourages me during the times, things seem to be tough.
