Thanks for sharing your story with us Mary Ellen. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started Dorey AromaTherapy after studying aromatherapy and reflexology for four years. I was personally very pleased with the results I achieved from using aromatherapy and wanted to share this easy-to-incorporate-into- your-daily-life wellness with others.
With my background in technical product development and quality assurance from the retail industry, I felt equipped to forge ahead and create my own line of products.
Using reflexology as a hands-on vehicle to introduce others to this often misunderstood modality, I have been incorporating aromatherapy with reflexology for several years with excellent results.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know. I had several bad experiences with marketing “gurus” that drained my pocketbook and my patience. I have gotten much more discerning in large part because of a wonderful coaching program that I won called ” Count Me In”. After a year of coaching, my business took off. I am exceedingly grateful for that experience.
Dorey AromaTherapy & Reflexology – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Dorey AromaTherapy has created a line of products to address everyday issues of wellness called WellCare. From allergies and colds, emotional support to sleeplessness, we have simple to use products that are applied to the skin or inhaled. Nothing is ingested.
We also have products for SkinCare and BodyCare as well as an alluring line of Natural Perfumes.
With the overload chemicals in our everyday life, aromatherapy is a great way to reduce your toxic load.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
For me, it is a series of small moments with clients whose lives improve on a regular basis as a result of this work. That awes and sustains me!
