Hi Mary, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is MARY PRECIOUS SANCHEZ. I’m from (ONDO STATE) in NIGERIA. I’m a graduate of RELIGIOUS STUDIES/PHILOSOPHY from a prestigious university called (ADEKUNLE AJASIN UNIVERSITY). And currently I just graduated from PHLEBOTOMY SCHOOL here in United state (AUSTIN CAREER INSTITUTE).
When I newly get to the United States from Nigeria a year ago, left everything I know, own, and my MUSIC CAREER and Aesthetic business I’ve created over the years and relocated to a new environment I feel excited at first but then because I can’t work for 6month as I don’t have any permit to do so in the US here I feel lonely. Then I continue my music career and realize I have no fans over here but only on social media when my followers grew from 2k to over 30k all because I post every exciting things I see around here and I even get to appear on LOUISIANA (KTALnews) by chance which spark my followers interest. so I dive fully into the fashion part of me which is “influencing”. And I became a SHEIN AMBASSADOR and lots of HAIR BRANDS, CLOTHING like TEMU & AliExpress Have worked with me. And some incoming brands I’m yet to reveal once we have the deal sealed. I’ve always advertise peoples business in Nigeria and support my friends businesses but ar the time never know it’ll become what I’ll be known for. and I play dress up but never took it as a career like I did now. I had no idea I could make social media presence like this and get recognized by brands and have people that get inspired by my daily lifestyle.
I’m grateful to God that I believe in myself despite my doubt and I gave social media my best and it pays off! Looking forward to climbing on bigger stages to perform my music globally and inspire my fans and make my family proud more!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some of my struggles as an African is FOOD haha! I’m still finding my ways around it and learning. But the people have been welcoming and supportive so far. My husband is to be thanked the most!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Currently I’m a MUSIC ARTIST, lifestyle influencer, brand ambassador and I’m a PHLEBOTOMIST.
Right now I’m most proud of me acquiring the phlebotomy certification in the US here within a year of my arrival, I though I couldn’t do it as I’ve never been in the health care industry.
Passing my exam as a newbie and my teacher saying I’m smart and intelligent, I feel proud of me!
What set me apart from others is my resilience, I don’t take NO for an answer and I’m not afraid of loosing because loosing means I’ll get to try again and be better than before! I’m creative and business oriented and I love investment I barely splurge!
God be praised, he has been helping me not to loose so far because I’ve once lost too much in life! And I’m not ready to loose again!
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I’m very shy in person. But behind my cameras I’m looked at as a bold person. But whenever I’m meeting people for the first time I get very nervous untill my environment gets warmer and I can bounce in to be myself.
And also I’m a prayer warrior, I might look like a baddie online but my bound with God is very strong. I pray before going to bed daily and when I wake up. That’s how most of us in Africa are raised, my mum is very religious although I’m not. I just believe in supremacy of God and goodness of the people.
