Today we’d like to introduce you to Matt Kilgore and Beth Miles.
Matt and Beth, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
It all started with people. Alamo Aztek Estate Sales has always been about people and how we can help them. I had a lot of good training which I am very thankful for before I decided to go out on my own. I first started doing cleanouts and had a great mentor in one of the largest national estate sale companies. Because of her she pushed me to go out on my own which I did.
In the beginning was the most challenging but the growing pains got worked out. Quite quickly we rose as one of the most viewed National Estate Sale companies. We specialize in Hoarder’s Houses. We’re not afraid of hard work, and consequently we take a lot of jobs that our competition refuses because of the magnitude of the work. We also offer delivery of furniture and larger items at our sales.
Because of our desire to help others we also offered more services including relocation sales, consignments and clean outs. In 2016 we opened our Consignment Shop Sleepy Hollow Resale Shop and Mystic Wolf Antique Mall to give our clients a further way to keep selling their items as well as customers who can’t have estate sales at their locations.
We got to where we are today by our never say die attitude and never refusing to help a client. We put our blood sweat and tears into our estate sales and always give 110% for our clients.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The challenge with every estate is always finding room to properly display merchandise
Hoarder’s houses in general, there is nothing easy about them.
Estates with volume and city ordinances will only allow 2 estate sales when 4 is necessary to complete.
Traffic jams due to the lots of customers coming to the sale.
Dealing with the numerous personality types of different customers that shop at the sale.
Trying to negotiate with customers the best possible prices of items for our clients.
Trying to remove furniture for customers trying to move furniture within tight spaces.

Alamo Aztek Estate Sales does Conducted Estate & Moving Sales, Relocation Sales, Delivery, Consignments, Appraisals, and Clean Outs. We specialize in Hoarders Houses, other companies say no, we say yes.
What sets us apart? We do more. We offer delivery options at our sales for customers who purchase furniture or larger items. We offer Relocation Sales if a client can’t have an estate sale at their location, we have options to sell their items offsite. We are a full-service company that has options from start to finish.

I don’t believe in luck. I believe a person makes their own luck. I believe every person is blessed with certain talents and the good Lord gave us lots of different talents that we utilize for the betterment of our clients.
