Hi Mersed, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m an entrepreneur and just recently got myself into the music entertainment business since I’ve always wanted to sing but was scared because I lacked singing talent, I never really took action. With no experience I’ve took classes on singing and in a year, I’ve released a full album with full video and audio productions with the album mainly sung in English and Spanish and one song in Italian and one in Bosnian. Music became part of my life ever since then.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s never a smooth road. You always have everything against you. It seems like you never have enough time but you have to make time to make something happen. Consistency is also another important obstacle to jump over. Determination is a must. Gotta focus on positivity and understand nothing happens overnight, take negative thoughts and people out of your life.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My stage name is just my first name “Mersed” I specialize in business but recently I’ve focused a lot on music a long-waited art that I had hidden within. I’m proud that I was able to finish and release a whole full album with full audio and video production in a year which is extremely hard to do. What sets me apart is that this album is in 4 different languages and it ranges from Pop to dance EDM and a ballad so it has a few different genres within.
What matters most to you? Why?
Family is number one.
