TSB Whit, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It was during a summer visit to Shreveport that Stephen discovered his passion for music. While sitting in on a studio session with his uncles and cousin, he found himself on the drum machine, creating beats with ease. He began saving his allowance and purchasing the work of producers he admired, honing his craft until he became known as the go-to person for killer beats. His reputation grew, and before long, people were seeking him out for tracks. TSB became the solution to the problem of subpar beats, and thus, he was dubbed TSB Whit.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
My journey to success in the music industry was not without its challenges. Growing up in a single-parent household in a gang-infested city presented its own set of obstacles. However, my mother’s decision to move the family to a safer environment allowed me to focus on my passion for music.
My early forays into music production were entirely self-funded, and I had to work hard to save enough money to purchase the equipment and software needed to create professional-grade beats. But with persistence and dedication, I eventually earned a reputation as a top-notch producer and beatmaker, and the demand for my work only continued to grow.
My success in the music industry was hard-won, but my unwavering dedication to my craft and my ability to overcome obstacles with perseverance and hard work ultimately led me to the top of my field.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As TSB Whit, I specialize in creating high-quality beats and producing music in a wide variety of genres, including hip-hop, R&B, and pop. My music is known for its infectious grooves, powerful hooks, and expertly crafted production.
I’m most proud of my ability to connect with artists and understand their creative vision, bringing their ideas to life through my music. I’m also proud of my commitment to excellence and my willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that each project I work on exceeds expectations.

What do you think about happiness?
What makes me truly happy is creating. There’s something incredibly satisfying about starting with a blank canvas and turning it into something beautiful and meaningful. Whether I’m producing a new track or working on a visual project, the act of creation is something that brings me immense joy.
In fact, I find that even on my worst days, creating can help lift me out of a bad mood. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of working on a project that I’m truly passionate about and seeing it come to life before my eyes. The sense of accomplishment and pride I feel when I’m able to create something truly great is unparalleled, and it’s what keeps me coming back to my work day after day.
