Inspire Salon and Spa started as a dream in the summer of 2013 and became a quick reality in September of 2013. With God’s hand in all of it, we have remained a salon family for the past 4 years with a lot of years ahead. We think of our clients as family and treat them as such. Without them every day we have nothing. It is a joy day after day making each and every one of them from Grandmothers to Granddaughters feel and look their absolute best.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Of course, there are struggles along the way as with any new business. However, the team of women that are at this salon make each day a little bit easier. Everyone truly has a beautiful heart and gets along well. We laugh and cry together sometimes all on the same day, all in all we have an amazing team here and I am truly blessed by each one of them. They all have something unique they bring to the table.
Inspire Salon and Spa – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We offer an array of hair services as well as massage, manicures and pedicures, facials and waxing. I think the way our clients are treated sets us apart. I have clients tell me all the time how friendly our salon is, and the fact of the uplifting environment the salon has.
Our massage therapists stay very busy as well as our hair girls. We have some great colorists at Inspire. I think the one thing that sets us apart is the simple fact that you will be spoken to when you are here by more than just to your therapist or hair artist. You are special and we want to make sure you are made to feel so.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success with more than a dollar amount. Success is having people walk through your door day after day with a smile on their face, looking forward to walking into your place of business. Whether it’s a client or an employee, just knowing that you have created an atmosphere full of joy where someone can come is a beautiful thing. My number one goal is for each person who comes in, is to feel better when they walk out.
