Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike and Janet Early.
Mike and Janet, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Upon college graduation, I started working in my father-in-law’s construction company. Worked for him for five years, learning the residential building business. Created my own construction company and with my wife as office manager began our business together.
We have been building custom homes for 39 years and continue to enjoy the business of helping families realize their dream home.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My 39 years in construction has seen many ups and downs in the economy and in the housing market. We have always been conservative and have been able to survive the challenging times.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Olympian Construction story. Tell us more about the business.
We build high-quality custom homes, Over the years we have built just about every style of home, Each customer is unique and our goal is to satisfy their wishes, We use the highest rated designers, architects and contractors available in the area, Some have worked with us for over twenty years, We all work together as a team to bring about the desires of the customer, What sets me apart from others is that the customer deals and works with me directly, I am working with the customer from the very beginning of the design process until the day they move in .. I do not have a job superintendent; I am on the job site every day, I am most proud of my relationship with my customers, they are not only clients, many have become personal friends, I have several clients for whom I have built three houses.

God has blessed me with good luck. First, meeting Janet, my wife and business partner, and then meeting her Dad, Dib Truett who took me in and taught me the building business.
