Meet Mike Rose of Mojo Media Labs in Irving

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike Rose.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Mojo Media Labs was founded in 2007, a marketing agency focused on bringing brand stories to life that was then sister to our previous arm, Marketing Candy, a premium promotional concepts company established in 1997. Having developed relationships in the promotional products business, there was a natural opportunity to segue into the digital marketplace after having helped with the offline branding of many organizations. Thus, Mojo was born!

Today, Mojo Media Labs has evolved into a full-scale digital inbound sales and marketing agency that helps drive qualified leads not only to organizations’ sites but through the sales pipeline. Mojo serves to help B2B organizations, and high-value B2C organizations grow, while they focus on the delivery of their product to make their customers’ lives better.

Today, we’re highly focused on serving as an extension of our customers’ marketing functions, and enabling marketing and sales to work together seamlessly by providing the technology and people it takes to set-up a successful sales and marketing alignment process.

Has it been a smooth road?
Of course not. Perhaps the biggest challenge is the ever-changing landscape that is digital marketing. With today’s technology, and the endless amount of tools, solutions, and evolving strategies, it is tough for organizations to stay on top of what is the correct digital strategy to elevate its sales and marketing success all while determining what is noise vs. what is the next big thing. You may say, “tons of new tools and solutions, that sounds like an amazing problem to have,” and you’d be right. It’s quite an amazing problem to have, and we’re lucky to be a learning lab where we can test what works, and what doesn’t on the Mojo brand, and then take only the frameworks along with new technologies that provide value directly to our customers.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Mojo Media Labs – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
It’s a combination of the scientific and the creative. It’s a blend of the traditional and innovative. It’s a mix of strategy and execution. If you look at our name, Media represents the right side of the brain, Labs represents the left side of the brain, and Mojo is a fusion of both. Combine all of them and you have Mojo Media Labs, a HubSpot Platinum-Certified Partner and the DFW American Marketing Association (AMA) Marketer of the Year award winner, in Dallas, Texas. We’re a digital marketing agency focused on website development, inbound marketing, sales and marketing alignment and sales enablement. We serve as an extension of our customers’ sales and marketing functions in order to arm them with brand messaging and an online presence alongside process alignment to provide growth-driven results. We are most proud of our culture, and our people. Hands down. We can provide a product or service like any other business, but our key difference is not what we do, it’s who we are. We have a culture of financial transparency, decision-making autonomy, and agile continuous improvement.

We have an outstanding team, which we call Mojo Makers, and we wouldn’t have an identity without them. The number one thing that sets us apart from the rest is our in-kitchen kegerator, just kidding, but stop by anytime for a tour and a craft beer!

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
At Mojo, our team members would all tell you that we love the diversity, the culture, the entertainment scene, and the food! Not to mention the opportunity for businesses. We’re seeing such an economic boom, and the potential that brings is so exciting for professional services organizations like ours. Hands down, the traffic is what we all like the least! 🙂
