Meet Miles of Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Miles

Hi Miles, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Success is never a solo journey—it’s built on collaboration, vision, and the right people coming together to create ! Through trial and error, I discovered what it truly takes to bring ideas to life. I explored different creative avenues, constantly evolving, until I found the perfect space where creativity, business, and conversation could collide. That’s when The 13th Grade Productions was born—a powerhouse for marketing, PR, and entertainment designed to be a platform where creatives thrive and connect.

At the heart of The 13th Grade Productions is its crown jewel—A Fifth of Something (AFOS). This isn’t just a podcast; it’s a movement. It’s where humor, culture, and raw, unfiltered conversation come together in a way that resonates. What started as a simple idea quickly grew into something much bigger than we ever imagined. AFOS has created a space where people connect, engage, and keep coming back for more. Our motto? “We don’t know a lot about a few things, we know a little about everything.”

But let’s be real—AFOS wouldn’t be what it is without the dream team behind it. Every great vision needs a solid foundation, and that’s exactly what we have. I’m Miles, The Best Dressed Podcast Host of All Time, leading the charge with my co-hosts, Cowboy Blue, a screenwriter and producer, Shamila, a entrepreneur, and Miss Tee, our executive producer who keeps us moving forward. Together, we’ve built more than just a podcast—we’ve created an experience. AFOS is about more than one voice; it’s a collective, where different perspectives, humor, and real talk merge to make an impact.

The growth has been surreal. We’ve partnered with Ruff Flow Entertainment + TV to expand our reach, bringing A Fifth of Something to an even bigger audience. But no matter how far we go, our mission remains the same—to uplift, inspire, and bring people together. Whether through fashion, business, or music, media, our goal is to create impact and open doors for others.

As part of that mission, we’re excited to introduce Sunday Vibes—a new space where local and emerging artists can showcase their work and get the true AFOS interview experience. It’s more than just a platform; it’s a space for creatives to be heard, seen, and celebrated.

What started as a passion project has now become our purpose. The best podcast of all time isn’t just a title—it’s a FACT. And we’re proving it, one episode at a time. Trust me, this is just the beginning.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building The 13th Grade Productions and growing A Fifth of Something has been an incredible ride, but like any creative journey, it hasn’t come without its challenges. Cowboy Blue worked to craft content that keeps listeners hooked, while Shamila tackled the battle of engagement in an oversaturated space. Standing out takes more than just a mic—it takes energy, consistency, and a fresh perspective. We’ve had to adapt, experiment, and evolve to keep our connection with the audience real and compelling.

For me, the biggest challenge was playing chemist—getting the formula just right. Chemistry is everything in a podcast. When it’s off, it’s obvious, but when it clicks? Magic happens. Cowboy Blue and I had a solid rhythm, but we knew something was missing. That led us on the search for the right female co-host, someone who could balance out the dynamic while bringing her own voice to the mix. Enter Shamila. That’s when Shamila came along, who had the tough task of stepping into our testosterone(d) studio to add a female’s point of view. Stepping into an already established male dominated podcast isn’t easy, but she’s proven to be a force, bringing her own personality and perspective while blending seamlessly into the AFOS team.

And just like that—POOF—the perfect team was formed. Now, it’s full speed ahead.

Through all the challenges—finding the right content, mastering our delivery, keeping audiences engaged, and navigating team changes—we’ve only grown stronger. This process has taught us resilience, adaptability, and the power of staying true to our vision. And in the end, every challenge has only made A Fifth of Something better and The 13th Grade Productions will continue to grow.

AFOS isn’t just a podcast—it’s the driving force that’s putting 13th Grade Productions on the map, in Dallas and beyond. It’s proof of what we can do. And as AFOS continues to grow, so does 13th Grade Productions. The journey is just getting started, and hasn’t been smooth, but the grind is what makes success that much sweeter.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
A Fifth of Something isn’t just a podcast—it’s an experience. What sets it apart?

Unpredictability at Its Finest – Most podcasts follow a formula. AFOS throws that formula out the window. Listeners never know what’s coming next—comedy, shocking twists, surprises, or complete chaos.

Shock and Entertainment Factor – It’s not just funny—it’s bold, outrageous, and fearless. We take risks, say what others won’t, and keep people coming back just to see what wild thing happens next.

Storytelling with a Twist – We don’t just talk—we entertain. Blue with his long stories, Shamila with her ‘thousand’ aliases, and Miles with his crazy questions all bring something unique, but somehow, things always take an unexpected turn.

No Boundaries, No Boredom – Some podcasts play it safe. A Fifth of Something? Never. We keep it raw, real, and ridiculously fun. No topic is too weird, no joke too big, and no moment too unexpected.

Bottom line? A Fifth of Something isn’t just a podcast. It’s a ride—and people can’t get enough.
