Thanks for sharing your story with us Misty. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
While working at a mortgage company back in 2011, I realized there was more to life than just that. I had a spark inside of me that has never turned off since. I knew I wanted to begin creating unique and different setups and I started with learning how to make chocolate covered strawberries. With so many fails I eventually figured out how to make money from it.
Many people did not understand what I was trying to accomplish and It has never been easy to prove myself to the nay sayers. It just fueled more determination. Gossip Strawberries has grown so much and continues to grow. From a blank canvas to this empire work of art I’ve created, it is a great feeling. Texas Crunchies Candy is another creation of mine I’ve launched earlier this year, and it is booming. I can’t wait to see what 2019 holds for both businesses.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road at all. Since no one has ever seen the creations of products I offer, definitely, the struggles have been trying to prove myself that my products are worth buying.

Gossip Strawberries is a new kind of Chocolate covered strawberry idea. We take the chocolate covered strawberry to a whole new level. It’s fun, fresh, and a cute gift or snack.
The second and newest edition of my products is Texas Crunchies Candy. It is a different kind of hard candy that comes plain, spicy, and sugar-free. Consumers are loving the taste, the crunchiness, and they can’t get enough of it.
I am super proud of what I’ve created from scratch. This was extremely scary to put products out there that you could always be critiqued for. There were more no’s than yes’s but it was fuel to keep going and never to give up.
The different styles and unique creations I bring to life is definitely what makes us different.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was extremely shy, quiet, and afraid of everything. I never knew what I wanted to be but I knew art, music, and sports always grabbed my attention.
