Mitchell, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We started City Surf five years ago in Uptown Dallas as a way to bring the fun of outdoor fitness to the world of group fitness. By focusing on the five pillars of fitness (muscle endurance, muscle strength, cardio endurance, cardio strength, and flexibility) we believed we could create a workout platform that fits the universal need of all humans. Whether you are a fitness pro or new to working out our platform will always help build healthy and mobile bodies. And with our Brand centered around the surf culture and mindset we have created a welcoming and fun studio environment.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has most definitely been a journey over these past five years! Figuring out the best way to share our messaging, education consumers on the benefits of City Surf training and navigating the competitive fitness landscape each day is a new challenge.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with City Surf Fitness – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We specialize in full body group fitness classes that if taken three times a week along with a solid nutrition City Surf is the platform to reach your fitness goals to prepare your body for its physical potential. We are proud of our members and community they are the reason we are still open today and able to expand to a multiple city studio.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We intend to test our model on a larger scale – bigger studios, more availability and grow our footprint all over the United States.
