Meet Moe Adam of The Great Pyramids Liquidation

Today we’d like to introduce you to Moe Adam

Hi Moe, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
When I first came to the United States as a student, I was driven to find ways to make a living. I started small—selling phones from store to store. I actually began by working at a phone shop for no pay, just to learn the ropes and build relationships. After earning trust, I started taking phone parts on consignment and selling them to neighboring stores. Eventually, I expanded to accessories and then to actual phones.

I realized that while phones were a big investment, accessories and other electronics offered better returns on investment, so I started focusing on those. Slowly, I built stronger relationships and expanded my product base. Everything changed when my father made it to the States. Together, we worked tirelessly—he taught me how to build trust, grow relationships, and think bigger. I remember when he started knocking on doors I’d never even thought of, connecting with different companies and opening new opportunities.

One pivotal moment was when we bought our first load of printers. I’ll never forget filling the house with so many printers that my mother was on the verge of exploding from frustration! We sold them all over through Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, eBay, and more. With every sale, we saved a bit more until we could afford our first storage unit, which was a huge relief for my mom.

From there, we kept grinding—extending relationships, trying new platforms, and investing in different products. Over time, our dedication paid off, and we grew from selling out of our home to operating out of a nearly 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse. Today, The Great Pyramids Liquidation Inc. works with major department stores, online stores, and name brands, providing customers with the best products and prices through our wholesale purchasing and selling. We’re proud to now do B2B sales across the United States and even export globally.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It wasn’t very easy, but with my father’s and brothers’ help, we knew we had to build and get to work. Balancing school, work, and the company was one of the toughest challenges I faced. I’d go to classes during the day, then work late shifts at a pizza spot, and in between, I’d be answering calls, following up with customers, and handling inquiries. Some days, it felt like I was juggling too much, and I honestly thought about quitting the company to focus on being an employee and working more hours.

But my father and brothers kept me grounded. My father taught me the importance of perseverance and trust, showing me how to build relationships and take steps I might not have considered on my own. My brothers were always there to grind with me, whether it was helping with inventory, knocking on doors, or strategizing our next move. Together, we put in long hours and stayed focused on the bigger picture.

It wasn’t an easy road, but we leaned on each other, stayed determined, and made it work. Those struggles taught me the value of family, hard work, and resilience. Looking back, every challenge was a lesson that brought us closer to building what The Great Pyramids Liquidation Inc. is today.

What matters most to me is building and growing this company alongside my family. The foundation of **The Great Pyramids Liquidation Inc.** was built with my father and brothers, and that bond is what drives me every day. We worked long hours together, facing challenges and celebrating victories as a team. Even though my father and brothers are now branching out into other businesses, we’ve always made it a point to meet two or three times a week to stay connected, share ideas, and support each other.

Family is the backbone of everything we do. Their guidance, hard work, and trust in me have shaped who I am as a business owner. The value of having a team that’s truly invested in each other’s success is irreplaceable, and it’s something that’s deeply rooted in the culture of our company.

While the business has grown, and we’re expanding in new directions, that sense of unity and family spirit remains at the core. It’s about knowing that, no matter what, we have each other’s backs, and we’re all striving toward the same goal: building something meaningful that we can all be proud of, and helping the community
