Monica, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Hello, I am Monica Hayden, CEO of the Innovative Business Coach, I am a Business System Strategist & Business Coach.
What made me start my business was being in corporate America putting my heart into it every business that I came in contact with making their presence a reality and not getting paid my worth. On top of that, I have seen how so many businesses were being misled and taken advantage of & desired to change that concept. Eventually was laid off after investing almost eight years into a company that didn’t care about their employees but was only concerned about what’s in it from them. When in reality without the right people in place your business will not be as successful as you desire.
Realized my worth and the rest was history.
I made a vow to invest my time, money and energy in helping other entrepreneurs and businesses like myself become successful. Be the best business they can be. By providing them the tools and resources that were taught to me to them. Through business seminars, business coaching, networking events to feed that positive energy into them that was never given to me willingly.
After trial & error, I created The Innovative Business Coach, to assist service base entrepreneurs with innovative ways to grow & scale their business using effective business systems & processes that deliver results. I know the importance of working smarter and not harder. So I meet you where you are in your business.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My entrepreneur journey has definitely not been a walk in the park but I can say that it was well worth the sacrifice. It taught me discipline & increased my faith. It showed me my worth even greater. I simply love what I do and is a blessing to be able to spread the knowledge that I have to someone else with ease.
Some of the challenges I faced were finding the right people to put in place that was as passionate about me exceeding as I was. Who to trust when it came to obtaining information & knowledge. To not be mislead in the wrong direction. Prayer was definitely key to my success because without God opening up doors and being two steps ahead of me and motivating me. I don’t think I could have done it alone.
There will be some times that you will have to walk alone with no family or friend support. I get it, it happens to the best of us. So its extremely important to know that your plan in life is not their plan. Everyone will not see your vision that God has given you so that you have to rely on God for clarity and understanding your purpose. And that is to serve the people and be a blessing in some kind of way. Understand whatever that you do it out of LOVE even if the same love is not returned.

I teach service-based entrepreneurs on how to optimize & fix their business to operate more effectively& become profitable using business systems & processes that scale.
I am known for a business coach and business systems, processes & automation.
I am most proud about the impact I am able to make in the future of a business!
What sets me apart is that I am straight forward business coach and an accountability business coach. I have your best interest at heart, very passionate about your success and will walk you through the process.
Most business coach and strategists don’t walk you through anything. I am ALL in and will be there as much as you allow me to be there. Your success is my success! I love to see businesses WIN!!
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is based on the positive impact you made in someone’s life for the better. It can be small or big.
So that business you help grow, that business that was scared to step out on faith, that community you gave back to, that child that now has hope, that encouragement or motivation that instill in someone else to not give and to keep pushing is considered a success in my book.
