Hi Monique, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As a child, I loved cooking and being in the kitchen with my mom. It first started out baking cakes for friends, family, and church events. During the pandemic, I got intentional about my passion for baking and created my business. The journey has not been easy, but it has been worth it and enjoyable!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The journey has been up and down. As a small business, I have faced numerous challenges. Whether it be the increase in prices of ingredients, business decisions, or cancelled orders. I have persevered and have not stopped chasing my dream!

I’m a black-owned, women-owned home-based business specializing in cakes and other treats for any occasion. My cakes are freshly made, moist and will have your guests wanting more!
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Luck has not played a role in the business. I’m BLESSED to be able to share my treats with everyone.
