Monique, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
I wanted to improve my smile and I went to see dr grapevine for a consultation. I never really smile showing my teeth before. I had small teeth with uneven edges. Dr grapevine was very detailed with showing and explaining to me how and what we could do to improve my smile. Not only fix my smile to look better but also the function of my jaw, I use to get headaches and jaw pain from heavy clenching and grinding at night. That all went away. Now I smile big and am more confident!
Please tell us more about your brand, Cobra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
I am a world champion in Brazilian Jiujitsu and my husband and I own a martial arts gym in Plano Tx. We teach self-defense and Brazilian Jiujistu. My husband and I both are world champions and what sets us apart from other gyms, we are family-oriented and not only give confidence, we change people’s lives, sometimes with Lodi g weight getting stronger, higher confidence in themselves and having a sense of community. We have adults and kid classes
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Jacob Grapevine, DDS and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit more about your experience with Jacob Grapevine, DDS.
I was wanting to change my smile but not at the cost of veneers which thy grind your natural teeth to ace nicer ones. There was nothing wrong with my natural teeth besides cosmetic look. So for me that made no sense. I researched changing teeth without veneers and came across cosmetic bonding. I soon realized that it’s very specialized and requires a lot of skill and artistry. I thought I’d have to go to Europe to do it Bc it was so popular there. One day I found myself googling and researching further and stumbled on Dr Grapevine website in my own backyard of Plano Tx. I was thrilled to have found someone so close. We set up a consultation and was super surprised to find out he was schooled in the same technique used for the project I was looking for. He actually specialized in this field. We went over a detailed smile preview with different options we could do. Dr Grapevine made me feel very excited about what he can do. It was very easy and he explained everything so well. In two appointments we changed the whole look of my teeth.
I am a different person with my new smile. I smile huge for my pictures now and am no longer conscious of my teeth.
