Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Schimmel.
Morgan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I can remember looking back 2 years ago fantasying of starting my own spa business. What services would I like to offer? What are my skills that could enhance other woman confidence? Or would I even be able to make my one-woman spa a successful and thriving business? My enthusiasm for beauty and wellness started young. As I grew, so did my passion for beauty and skin. I have learned that hard work, compassion, and knowledge goes along way. Being in business one year now, our clientele, employees, and location have expanded beyond my expectations. It wouldn’t be without a little faith, crazy hours, and amazing clients. I am grateful to walk into the spa every day, doing what I love and boosting confidence. This is what WAX LASH & BEYOND is all about!
Has it been a smooth road?
Of course every day wasn’t peaches and cream. While majority of my fellow woman entrepreneurs were supportive and helpful, there are always going to be the “Negative Nancy’s” in the world. Balancing emotions and work can be seriously tough at times. But learning to let go of the unimportant things was one of the biggest lessons learned. Having supportive and loving clientele always keeps me fueled.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Wax Lash & Beyond story. Tell us more about the business.
Wax Lash & Beyond’s founder and Esthetician Morgan Schimmel, envisioned a luxury but comfortable atmosphere where all people are welcomed and pampered. With a deep love of skincare and beauty, I wanted create an environment focusing on overall skin correction and wellness, with a holistic approach.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Continuing education is very important to us, so we are always on the lookout for the newest and best beauty services around. Over the next few years, expect WLB to not only upgrade and enhance all of our current services, but introduce new and exciting things for all of our amazing clients. Go big or go home, right!

Morgan is the absolute BEST! I’ve been going to her for my Econ care needs for about six months and my skin has changed for the better drastically! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my skin. Not only is Morgan kind and supportive, she also knows her stuff like the back of her hand. Any questions I have she is able to answer with complete confidence.
