Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Carroll.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Nash Entertainment, (I’m the “N” and Ashley is the “ash”) was made from passion and motivation. We have always loved working together and creating art together. I have been videoing for over three years as more of a hobby. Recently, we decided to start our own company! It’s been the best time, being our own boss and also living out our passion. I do the filming and editing. Ashley does the marketing, accounting, website design, billing, etc. We love doing any kind of events, but anything music-related is our favorite.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a struggle. More so in our life outside of Nash Entertainment. Through the ups and downs of our 9-5 job came the idea for Nash. Nothing is ever 100% or guaranteed forever. We hope with Nash, to be fully reliant on ourselves and independent, never feeling tied down or living paycheck to paycheck.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Nash Entertainment – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Nash Entertainment is a videography company. We film and edit videos for any event. Our done is probably the most highly requested form of video we receive. We aren’t just a business, we create a personal relationship with everyone we work with. We use the strongest points of our personality to overflow into our business. Ashley and I are very laid back and passionate people. The relationships we develop go beyond just a means for income, they stretch to life long friends and a solid business relationship. We just partnered with Chris Gronkowksi and his many companies.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Ashley is from Colleyville and graduated from Grapevine High School. We lived in Austin together for four years before coming to Las Colinas. We are very active and practically live in nature. The thing we like least about Dallas would be the lack of hiking and outdoor water actives to do. Comparing Dallas to Austin in that way is not fair though. Dallas has stolen our heart in so many other ways. Dallas has a great “entrepreneur” feel, the help and mentorship we have gotten has been very helpful. Everyone here is open to working with us and informative on how to grow our business. We adore the city and love going to watch sunset downtown at a rooftop restaurant.
