Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Ganz.
Natalie, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I grew up in East Texas and attended Baylor University earning a degree in Family and Consumer Science. When I graduated, I moved to California, got married, and my husband and I returned to Texas my home state, where we started our family! While being a stay at home mom to our three children I have engaged in few business endeavors that kept me involved in the clothing business during the last seven years even though my main focus has been my family. I am a problem solver, a neat freak, an organizer, and a mom who loves watching my kids participate in their athletics, dance, and just playtime! Relationships are important to me.
My vision was to start a business I was passionate about while earning additional income from home. Simply Blush was launched in November 2017 on Facebook and Instagram along with my website. It immediately took off and was received well by friends and family. My audience grew and quickly began to flourish.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There are good productive days and then not so productive days. When my kids are out of school, it is a challenge to get planning time carved out of the day while still taking care of the family needs. I know all working moms experience this every day as they divide their time between work and home
This past summer was challenging but it gets easier every day. There is a volume of organizing and planning that goes into the business that must be done daily.
Since I do run an online business, I can work from home, although Simply Blush does not close for the weekend. That is an advantage and disadvantage because I don’t leave my work at the office. My two daughters, Sophie-7 and Macie-6, love to help and hopefully are getting some exposure to experiences that will help them run a business one day. My baby boy is more into Power Rangers!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Simply Blush – what should we know?
Simply Blush is a women’s clothing boutique. We offer trendy quality women’s clothing, accessories and shoes in sizes XS-3XL. It is primarily online shopping and I proudly offer FREE shipping and FREE returns! Typically, orders will ship the same day if placed before 5 pm. I feel this takes away the risk of online shopping.
I will host Pop Up Parties, attend local events, do Giveaways and post Flash Sales often. After feedback from some of my customers, in February 2019, I opened a small Brick and Mortar store inside Doozie’s Corner in downtown McKinney, Tx. Doozie’s Corner is located at 208 E Louisiana St. Please stop by when you are in the area!
I also gather feedback from my customers about their likes and dislikes and began having models of different sizes on the website per request. I even model myself sometimes! In today’s world with working women taking care of family and themselves, with limited time for shopping, more and more women choose to shop from their homes. They are not limited by their proximity to stores or malls. and can shop at any time!
This business has grown by word of mouth. When you find something you love, you want to share it with others. That’s what I love about Simply Blush.

I have a supportive family that has been there to cheer me on through this journey. Friends, family, and customers have been amazing to invite their own friends, family, and co-workers to shop with Simply Blush. I wouldn’t be in business without them. They drive my business! When you find something you love, you naturally want to share it with someone. I have the best customers and enjoy serving them!
