Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Skoog.
Hi Natasha, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I started my esthetician journey in 2020. My initial interest was to be a lash tech when I enrolled at Salon Boutique Academy in Addison. The information I learned at school opened my eyes to much more. I was certified in so much more than just lashes. Body contouring became “my thing”. I now own a spa in Pantego, Tx. I offer a variety of services- from facials to vaginal rejuvenation. I truly love what I do. I’m here for your skin and body needs!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. It’s a journey, some days are good some days I’m like what the heck did I get myself into? Like why did I decide to become an entrepreneur again? But there’s beauty in it all. The most exciting thing about this venture is, it’s mine! It’s my story to tell, it’s my empire to build. Nobody can take away from me what I know how to do and that’s to make others feel good about themselves. I’m 100 percent invested in what I do so the good days out weight bad.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m a licensed esthetician. I offer facials (corrective skincare), body contouring, waxing, vaginal rejuvenation, RF skin tightening, and more. I’m also a certified PMU artist specializing in lip blushing. I’ve partnered with Glymed professional skincare line and have an online retail store where you can purchase skin care products for at-home use. I’d love to be your go-to girl for your beauty needs! I’m here to help you come up with a plan/routine to fit your desired needs. I truly love what I do- it brings me pure joy to see a satisfied customer!
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice to you is to figure out what works best for you and roll with it! Invest in yourself and most importantly believe in yourself. Don’t get discouraged by someone else’s progress uses it as motivation. Stay positive and keep going.
