Today we’d like to introduce you to Natausha Ray.
Natausha, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’m sure you hear this all the time but I’ve always known what I wanted to do since I was in the 7th grade. I use to do my friend’s hair as well as mine for different events we had at school. the passion for hair was more so sparked when I was in high school, I assisted my mom’s friend who was like an aunt to me (Diane Simpson). I enjoyed it so and learned quite a bit. I wanted to go to hair school but my mom didn’t think it was the best option at the time so I attended Prairie View A&M University.
Even that didn’t stop me I would do hair in my dorm room lol. When I decided to take a break from college I attended Toni&Guy Hairdressing Academy in Carrolton TX. I absolutely loved it, it was a breath of fresh air for me. Once I finished college I assisted and worked at one of the top salons in the DFW area Osgood Oneil. I perfected my craft there for about five years, though I loved this company I wanted more and decided to step out on faith and birthed Salon 921 March of 2013.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
So far its been good I honestly can’t complain GOD has truly carried me along this journey.

I Specialize in all things hair, I looooove to cut and that truly what I have known for. Me continuing to stay humble is what sets me apart from the rest.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Future plans are gonna be under wraps for now but I plan on setting myself up so I can be in the land of plenty!!!
