Today we’d like to introduce you to Nizar Bhulani.
Nizar comes from a family of educationists and entrepreneurs. In the past, he has been associated with imparting and managing skill development, technical and tertiary level professional education
After receiving his Master’s degree in Business Administration and Computer Sciences, Nizar Bhulani began teaching at the university level out of graduate school. Bhulani also founded and managed many IT companies, but he soon realized his passion was education. Combining his interest in education with his experience in entrepreneurship, Bhulani decided to open his first Sylvan Learning in Bedford in 2016.
In 2018 Nizar decided to take over ownership of the Dallas location by joining forces with business partner Fayzan Keshwani. Fayzan and Nizar have been family friends for several years, and when Fayzan became interested in investing in an education brand in the Dallas market, he turned to his dear friend Nizar to get more information on Sylvan Learning.
Nizar and Fayzan today own five Sylvan Learning Center locations in the DFW Metroplex and are continuously growing their educational enterprise. They successfully run and operate Sylvan Learning Centers of Dallas & Highland Park, Cedar Hill, Bedford, Arlington & Mansfield and Southlake & Keller.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
For most of the part, it has been a smooth road. The credit for that goes to the combination of skills that I and Fayzan bring to the table. Moreover, we have received great support from Sylvan Corporate during our Sylvan Journey.
There have been some challenges along the way but with the support from the Corporate folks and our determination to deliver the best, we have successfully been able to overcome those challenges.
We have also been truly blessed with an amazing team of Directors who help us run our centers and an amazing team of teachers and support staff who day in and day out work towards ensuring utmost quality of service.
