Today we’d like to introduce you to Noah Labhart.
Noah, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’ve worn many tech hats over the past decade and a half, including working in software development for small start-ups through to large corporations. I launched Touchtap in 2015 as a digital studio primarily focused on building web and mobile solutions for startups and entrepreneurs. Having such an extensive background as a tech lead has really helped inform our internal processes, client communications, and strategic positioning, as we can approach every project having walked in the shoes of a client. Today, Touchtap has grown into a diverse, distributed team focusing on experience-first digital solutions for clients both locally and nationwide. We’ve won multiple awards for our work, and continue to seek out new and engaging projects that challenge us to stay at the forefront of our areas of expertise.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We’ve been fortunate enough to grow rapidly year on year, bringing on new colleagues and clients at a truly exciting rate. As with any small business or startup, the main challenge has been balancing growth with available resources. Fortunately, having stringent internal processes, as well as flexible working agreements, have kept things streamlined, ensuring that we’re not over- or under-resourced.
Touchtap – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Touchtap is an award-winning DFW-based digital studio focusing on creating beautiful user experiences and specializing in native app development technologies for iOS and Android. Our audience is primarily startups and entrepreneurs, with a focus on digital marketplaces.
We offer end-to-end solutions and are proud to be able to deliver value at every step of a project – from validating a business model through to post-launch success. Our multiple awards speak to the quality of the work that we consistently deliver, but we’re most proud of our ability to go above and beyond when it comes to providing exceptional customer service. Our client-oriented approach is something we consistently hear positive feedback about.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Touchtap’s consistently upwards trajectory is something I’m very proud of. Our continued growth is evidence of the hard work we put into creating spectacular digital solutions and of our success in striving to be a studio that people want to work with – and for.
