Today we’d like to introduce you to Osias Atantu.
Hi Osias, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story in entrepreneurship starts about 4 years ago when the thought of opening my own photography studio had crossed my mind. Years forward, I am now the CEO and founder of Lda Management, a media house based in Cape Town.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road can never be smooth, otherwise, it would be a road to me, the bumps is what makes the journey meaningful. As in the beginning, things were extremely difficult, establishing the brand, building a portfolio, getting clients, making money. I had to balance between my old job and this new journey. Making ends meet at month-end was a nightmare but this is what gave me the motivation to strive, as my goal was the most importing thing, and I had nothing to lose.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Well, I am Osias Atantu, a photographer and business owner, plus a sushi chef. My work consists of various photography genres, such as maternity, lifestyle, wedding, fine art, and nude photography. I am popularly known for my nude photography as this has really made my work stand out in the local scene, as I am amongst a few people that decided to try this out.
How do you define success?
I define success as a personal accomplishment that one works hard to achieve, and that feeling of knowing that you stayed faithful to your goal and then achieving it.
