Patty, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am a wife, mother & worker. I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years. My passion to help others enjoy fitness as much as I do, led me to the career choice of opening a fitness studio. Fitness Xone is an extension of my lifelong mission to share the benefits and joy of exercise and healthy living with others.
Fitness Xone opened its doors for business October 2013. We continue striving to helping others live active healthy lifestyles…. A healthy active lifestyle is for everyone.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The studio opened on a shoe string budget; No loans & no investors. Therefore, the budget was tight and took creativity to make ends meet. The work has been hard & the challenges have been difficult. However, the old saying “when there’s a will, there’s a way” seems to hold true. The studio continues to grow & spread the love of fitness.
So, let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Fitness Xone story. Tell us more about the business.
Fitness Xone is a Fitness Studio located in Arlington. We offer group fitness classes; classes are for all fitness levels. We focus on creating an atmosphere that is welcoming & fun. We offer a variety of classes. Whether you are looking to get your heart pumping, your swag on, increase your strength, or Bring out your sexy side. Our class schedule provides a variety of choices for you. We offer the following class formats; Zumba®, MixxedFit®, FX Fit, Yoga/Pilates, and Burlesque Fitness.

Owning a studio has always been a dream of mine. With the support of my family & friends, I was able to make that dream a reality. I consider myself very lucky & blessed to have wonderful family & friends that support me & my dream. I could not have done this on my own.
