Morgan, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
A true testament to Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I graduated from the first private HBCU, Wilberforce University, in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. After graduation, I moved to Indianapolis, IN, for a year to begin a career in banking with Keybank as a Management Associate. I shortly learned that the banking industry was not for me. After coming to the realization of needing a change, I was offered a career opportunity at Cintas Corporation in Dallas, Texas. It was an opportune time for me to establish my career; without hesitation, I leaped at the opportunity. Spring of 2015, I officially relocated to Lewisville, Texas.
Delighting in my new normal, I must admit, discreetly I desired to uncover some familiarity living in the “Big D”- Dallas. I probed the city and discovered, The Potter’s House. The first service I attended made me feel at home. Within the same year, I became a member and joined the dance ministry. There was a sense comradery serving within the ministry; Dallas began to feel more like home. Before I knew it I was frequenting events, establishing new relationships- many of which were formed through Millennial Clubs – a serviced focused and networking organization I joined in 2018. With the encouragement of friends and the member support of, Millennial Clubs and The Potter’s House, I stopped flirting with the idea of creating my own legacy and actually began pursuing it – this was the inception of Peaks Agency.
Has it been a smooth road?
Along my way, I’ve encountered some challenges and obstacles. It has not been a smooth road and I still consider myself to be at the beginning of my journey. It feels as if it were just yesterday; I moved away from everything that had been familiar to me all my life, at the opportunity to establish a new trajectory for my future. At the beckoning of trial and error, I’m learning on my own; the foundation of marketing and how to build an agency.

Peaks Agency is a marketing agency that specializes in social media marketing and brand development along with strategy and insights. Peaks Agency is a newly established company currently servicing Modish & Swank Clothing Co. If you take a peek (no pun intended) at their social sites, content creation, brand recognition, and following, you are staring at the service of my company. I hold great pride and honor in learning the application of these marketing tools in-house.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Overall, I love Dallas! I really enjoy experiencing the difference in culture, the amazing food, and the wonderful friendships that have grown and intertwined as family. Oh! And the winters! Winters in Dallas sure beat Ohio- I do not miss shoveling that snow and ice. The only disappointment, which might serve as a huge one, is the triple-digit summer temperatures. Ha!
