Meet Phoenix Marcón of IMPERIUS AGENCY

Today we’d like to introduce you to Phoenix Marcón.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
After serving in the U.S. Air Force, I transitioned into technology in the early days of the internet. In 1993, I studied Computer Information Systems at DeVry, and by 1997 I was building websites at scale—hundreds of them—at a time when most businesses didn’t fully understand what the internet was yet, only that they needed to be on it.

That early work turned into a local agency, then expanded into a national operation as demand grew and businesses began to realize that digital presence wasn’t optional—it was foundational. Over time, our focus evolved from simply building websites to building complete digital infrastructure: systems, automation, messaging, and growth engines that actually drive revenue.

Today, that evolution has become a global brand spanning nearly 30 years. We specialize in business infrastructure, automation, and AI-driven growth systems, including advanced inbound and outbound AI voice agents capable of executing up to 10,000 outbound calls per hour.

The mission has remained the same since day one: help businesses move faster, operate smarter, and scale with systems—not guesswork.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road—and it shouldn’t be if you’re actually building something real.

One of the constant challenges has been the speed of technology change. Every major shift—from early web adoption to search, social, mobile, automation, and now AI—required continuous learning, reinvention, and the willingness to outgrow what had already worked. Staying relevant meant investing more time in education, experimentation, and rebuilding systems while still delivering results for clients in real time.

As the business scaled, new challenges emerged around operations and leadership: building teams, documenting standards, and creating systems that could perform consistently across industries, markets, and time zones—without relying on founder heroics.

Then COVID forced another inflection point. Almost overnight, client priorities changed, budgets froze, and entire business models were disrupted. Rather than retreat, we used that period to double down on systems, automation, and remote-first infrastructure—positioning the company for the next phase of growth as the world reopened.

Each challenge sharpened the focus. Today, those lessons show up in how we operate: infrastructure over hype, adaptability over rigidity, and systems that scale regardless of market conditions.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Imperius Agency is a veteran-owned global digital infrastructure and AI growth firm built for businesses that want scale without chaos.

We specialize in designing and deploying end-to-end business systems—from brand positioning and conversion-focused websites to automation, CRM architecture, and advanced inbound and outbound AI voice agents capable of executing up to 10,000 outbound calls per hour. Our work replaces fragmented tools and manual labor with unified systems that drive revenue, consistency, and operational leverage.

What sets Imperius apart is our philosophy: we don’t sell tactics—we build infrastructure. Most agencies focus on surface-level marketing outputs. We operate deeper, embedding ourselves into how a business actually functions so growth is repeatable, measurable, and not dependent on founder heroics or constant reinvention.

We’re especially known for helping businesses modernize quickly—integrating AI, automation, and scalable communication systems without disrupting day-to-day operations. Nearly three decades of experience across multiple technology cycles gives us a rare advantage: we understand what’s durable, what’s hype, and how to future-proof organizations as platforms and markets change.

What we’re most proud of is the consistency of outcomes. Our clients don’t just get “better marketing”—they get businesses that run smarter, respond faster, and scale with confidence. Imperius exists for leaders who want systems that work as hard as they do.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
No meaningful business is built alone, and this one is no exception.

Credit is due first to the clients who trusted us early—often before the market fully understood the technology or the approach. Their willingness to take calculated risks gave us the opportunity to test, refine, and scale systems that are now core to what we do.

I’m also grateful to the collaborators, contractors, and team members over the years who helped translate vision into execution. Many came in for specific seasons or projects, but each contributed ideas, feedback, and craftsmanship that raised the standard of the work.

Mentorship didn’t always come in formal roles, but in patterns—learning from operators, engineers, founders, and business owners who were willing to share hard-earned lessons, mistakes, and perspective. Those insights helped shape how we think about durability, systems, and long-term value.

Finally, support from family and close friends mattered more than most people realize. Building across decades requires patience, belief, and tolerance for uncertainty—especially during periods of reinvention.

Imperius is the result of many hands, many lessons, and a long arc of shared effort. I’m proud of what we’ve built together.
