Hi Plot$, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m from Stop 6( Fort Worth,Tx) — that’s home. I’ve always been a loner, real quiet, real focused. I see the world different. Music was just the first way I learned how to translate that. I don’t really talk much, so when I do, it’s through the sound. Plot$ ain’t just a name — it’s a mindset. Everything’s part of a plan.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nah, it ain’t been smooth at all. But that’s what made it real. I’ve had to learn everything the hard way — no shortcuts, no handouts. Life hit, people switched, and silence became my best friend.
There were moments where it felt like nobody saw the vision but me. Times when I almost stopped. But every time I hit that point, I reminded myself why I started — ‘cause this is bigger than music. It’s therapy.
The struggle made the sound. You can’t fake pain, you can’t fake growth. Everything I went through just built more layers in the art. Now I wear it like armor.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I create feelings, not just songs. Everything I drop — the sound, the look, the vibe — it’s all one world. I’m known for making pain sound beautiful.
What I’m proud of is doing it my way. No label, no formula, just heart.
What sets me apart? I’m not chasing anything. I’m just being real. The mystery, the tone, the message — it’s all me.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Every move I make is a risk. I don’t play it safe — I’d rather fail being real than win pretending.
Dropping music my way, building from scratch, trusting my gut — that’s all risk. But that’s what keeps it pure.
I see risk as part of growth. If it don’t make you nervous, it ain’t worth doing.
