Today we’d like to introduce you to Precious Brown.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Precious. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Inner Vixen started with my best friend Ivy and I opening up a location in Six Flags mall until they closed the mall down. Shortly after that, I took a break from the store, but of course, came back bigger and better and still growing. Inner Vixen logo was created, clothing for all sizes, and currently perfecting Inner Vixen’s perfume!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road, from the mall closing to opening up another storefront location and that not going as planned and then having my baby girl around the same time kind of pushed things back and slowed things down.
Please tell us about Inner Vixen.
Inner Vixen was created to help women release/find the vixen in them. This is not to be confused with promiscuity but has everything to do with empowering women. As a company, I am most proud of being able to help women see that they deserve to have a moment when she feels her best. Women are queens and Inner Vixen was created to help bring that out of each and everyone woman. What sets me apart from others is that I not only have clothing for women of all sizes, I also have created a perfume that smells amazing!
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from my childhood would be winning runner up in my third-grade spelling bee at Briscoe Elementary lol. It only made me more determined to learn, and to perfect the word I lost first place on, INDEPENDENT!
