Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronda and Breon Swanigan.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Ronda and Breon. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We started our real estate journey last year when we purchased our first rental property. As full-time workers in transportation and education, we never thought in our wildest dreams of owning an investment property. We knew that if we stick to real estate, it could lead us to financial freedom and generational wealth. We are also passionate about helping others and our community. We would be able to do both of these by providing housing to families and renovating problem property that could add value to the neighborhood. Fast forward a year later, we were able to purchase six more properties, seven total in our first year of investing. We knew that we wanted to scale our business by growing our rental portfolio and help others sell their property that they didn’t want on the market.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
When dealing with real estate, nothing is a smooth road. We struggled with our first rental property by not having a closing checklist and not doing our due diligence. Some other struggles were purchasing multiple properties around the same time and keeping up with our completion timeline.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Prolific Properties REI story. Tell us more about the business.
Prolific Properties REI is our small Real Estate Investing business. We are our new and have been established since Aug 2019. Our mission is to provide value and solve problems for our clients by understanding their motivation to sell their problem properties. Also, providing families with beautifully renovated rental properties that are affordable and will appreciate over time while helping add value in the community. We are most proud of transforming properties that are now desirable to families. We are also proud of how we take care of our clients. We provide them with the best customer care and they are always our top priority. What sets us apart is our ability to reach people through empathy, authenticity, and building genuine positive relationships.

We like to substitute the word luck with ambition, perseverance, and our dedication to our “WHY,” which is building a legacy for our family. By us being dedicated and not giving up during the difficult times is what drives us and our business to succeed.
