Meet Quindon “Qthespeaker” Hall of Qthespeaker in Pleasant Grove

Today we’d like to introduce you to Quindon “Qthespeaker” Hall.

Quindon, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
February 12, 2015 was the day it all started while others were excited about graduation high school, I was being informed that my mother had stage 3 cancer. To make matters worst, I was already on the verge of getting kick out sadly, uncertain about life at this point, I went to college on the last-minute decision. I attended college for a year and a half before being expelled for making dumb decisions without considering the consequences. Once I left college, I moved back home with my mother for a month and everything seemed perfect until she started complaining about not being able to breathe checking herself in the hospital. Being told she would be released in four days, she passed away in a week in a half from suffocation. This is when I became a speaker in desperate hope to find a better way for myself and help others over come their circumstances. TODAY, I travel any and everywhere throughout Dallas speaking to the youth helping the turn their losses into wins.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nowhere near smooth! I had to find somewhere to stay I worked 3 jobs just to make ends meet, a few of my boys got jail time and above all, I LOST MY MOTHER AND MY GRANNY in this process. Nowadays, I just pray and hope I can get where I’m going because I can honestly say there have been days I didn’t know if I would make it! But I’m still breathing so I’m thankful overall.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I not only a motivational speaker, but I’m also a life coach, mentor, and realist. Any one knows me or knows of me will tell you I do everything in my power to make sure people see the light in there darkest times because I’ve been in the lowest of lows. I’m most proud of the fact that people allow me to inspire them and help them become better as a whole because four years ago, I was but a speaker. I believe I’m different because I don’t lecture I make speaking fun and relatable I want to be viewed as a family, not as a speaker or mentor.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
None, I don’t believe in luck. I believe if you work hard for something and use all the powers within you along with having a purpose higher than yourself.
In some way, shape or form, you’ll make a way.
And most importantly, be thankful, thank GOD, thank your parents, and be thankful for the opportunity.
Just as I am to even be mention on this VOYAGE page, I greatly appreciate you.
