Hi Rajvinder, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a board-certified gastroenterologist with a strong foundation in internal medicine and a passion for helping patients improve both their health and confidence. Over the years, I developed a deep interest in aesthetic medicine as well as obesity medicine—fields that allow me to take a more holistic and empowering approach to patient care. In 2024, I decided to take the leap and open my own aesthetics practice, Venus Medical Aesthetics. Alongside services like injectables and skin rejuvenation, I’ve also incorporated evidence-based weight management strategies, including the use of GLP-1 medications. This blend of aesthetic and metabolic health allows me to support my patients inside and out, helping them look and feel like the best version of themselves. We’re excited to have our med spa be a part of the McKinney and Frisco communities and help others reach their goals. We know first-hand the impact looking and feeling your best can have on a person.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Committing time, energy, and resources into something new, especially outside of my primary specialty, was both exciting and daunting. There were moments of doubt and uncertainty, and we often found ourselves questioning whether we made the right decision in opening the med spa. The aesthetics industry is highly competitive, and getting your name out there takes consistent effort. Some days, that uncertainty can still creep in, along with feelings of imposter syndrome.
But through it all, we’ve stayed grounded in what we believe: in our team of highly qualified medical professionals, in the quality of care we provide, and in using trusted, FDA-cleared, name-brand products and devices that our clients know and love (like Hydrafacial, Botox, and Dermapen to name a few!). We know it takes time to build a strong presence in McKinney, but we’re committed to the journey and proud to be serving this community.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love most about McKinney—and the greater Dallas area—is the sense of community. McKinney has this unique blend of small-town charm and big-city convenience. People here genuinely support local businesses, and that’s been incredibly encouraging as a new business owner. The area is growing fast, which brings in a diverse mix of people, perspectives, and opportunities. Plus, the vibrant food scene, great schools, and family-friendly atmosphere make it a wonderful place to live and work.
The Dallas metroplex also offers access to cutting-edge medical and aesthetic innovation, which aligns perfectly with what we’re building at our med spa, Venus Medical Aesthetics. It’s exciting to be in a place where people value health, wellness, and self-care.
As for what I like least—honestly, the saturation in the aesthetics market can be challenging. There are a lot of providers out there, and not all hold themselves to the same standards of quality and safety. That can make it harder for clients to know who to trust. Also, traffic can definitely be a downside, especially if you’re traveling between suburbs like Frisco, Plano, and Dallas proper. But overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives, and we’re proud to call McKinney home.
