Today we’d like to introduce you to Raquelle Judge.
Hi Raquelle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Chris and I have a very “when you know, you know” story! We met on TikTok in March of 2020, right before everyone got quarantined! We were able to go on one date before we decided to quarantine together! We got in engaged in June of 2020, started our business in August of 2020, started building our home also in August of 2020, got married in November of 2020 and moved into our home January of 2021! This is my fourth year in real estate and Chris’ background is in home design and construction, so we joined forces to start our business, Judge DFW Group! Our real estate, design, build company has been very successful since launching in August of 2020 as we have currently have four custom homes in the works for clients and two full gut remodels, all while closing over 40 homes a year on the real estate side!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Chris and I frequently joke that the world constantly tests us because if something can go wrong, it’s going to go wrong to us! Our followers on social media get a daily look into our lives and there is always something happening. Whether it be Chris’ truck on fire on the side of the highway, us being stuck in the mud at a job site, car problems, plumbing problems! But, we take a lot of pride in the fact that we are able to work through any obstacle that gets thrown at us, and we’re able to make it positive and fun, whereas most would throw in the towel. We have a blended family that consists of four kids that are 4, 5, 5 and 14! We are constantly running around in between jobs and kids, but we enjoy the chaos of our daily lives and we like getting to share it with the world!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My husband, Chris, and I own Judge DFW Group. We are a real estate, design, build business! We specialize in new construction and custom builds. I run the real estate side of our business while Chris designs and builds custom homes for clients! We heavily market our business and day-to-day activities on social media; many people enjoy following along on our every day adventures that include work and family life! We work hard and we work a lot and we are proud of our dedication and work ethic, all while maintaining a strong home life with our four kids! We take a lot of pride in being heavily involved in all aspects of our business, while we do have employees for the construction side of business, we are still at job sites all day every day helping out, and the real estate side of our business is just run by Chris and myself! We have a lot of fun no matter what situation we are in and enjoy sharing our journey on social media for our followers! We are very good at making any situation, no matter how difficult or frustrating, into a positive learning experience for everyone involved.
How do you define success?
Success to us is enjoying life and who you’re with, whether you’re super successful or still working to succeed, none of it matters if you don’t love your life and what you’re doing. Chris and I constantly say that we are all about quality and not quantity. We believe in great custom service and being very involved in our business. Success to us is building a product and a business that we are both proud of and that people are proud to be a part of. We want clients to love what they’re getting and have fun in the process of building their home with us! To us, we are successful because we love what we do and we love doing it together.
