Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Eller.
Rebecca, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always been interested in photography! I enlisted in the Marine Corps and went to school how to properly use a camera and got to take photos for my job in the military! Once I had my daughter in 2014, I did like most new moms and took thousands of photos, which fueled my passion for photography and ignited an interested in specifically newborn and baby photography. They grow up so fast, and in just a few months they are hitting new milestones and not as small as they once were. I love being able to capture and freeze that sweet moment in time to cherish for a lifetime!
Has it been a smooth road?
Being in the military has made it a little difficult, you’re constantly moving and once it feels like you’re starting to get established in a city, it’s time to move! But the DFW area has been good to me, and I plan on staying in the area for the long haul!
We’d love to hear more about your business.
I specialize in maternity, newborn, babies and one-year-old photos. I do take family photos as well, but I think it is important for photographers to focus on one niche and specialize in something specific instead of trying to do everything, that way one can really master their craft.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Though the area is saturated with newborn photographers, the area is so large that you can still make it in this business!
