Today we’d like to introduce you to Renee & Lenny Cummings.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Renee & Lenny. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We are the parents of Clint Cummings, the founder of Sparrows Tattoo Company, Mansfield, Texas. Clint was on season 2 of Ink Masters followed by 1 season of Tattoo nightmares Miami. The shop has 11 incredibly talented artists. The shop is 5,000.00 square feet that looks more like an art gallery than a Tattoo shop.
Clint was diagnosed with stage 4 Colorectal cancer January 2016. He went through 11 months of Chemo and Radiation treatments. He endured unbelievable pain during these treatments. During his illness, he put together a plan to raise money and spread the word for the Fight Colorectal Cancer Foundation. Clint passed away Dec. 23, 2016. As his parents, we have vowed to carry on his Legacy by keeping his shop open and working with different cancer foundations.
Our son was a very giving person and always helped someone in need. His brother Cody Cummings has now taken up Tattooing in his honor.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Well there was never a Tattoo shop in the city of Mansfield so Clint took the time to fight the city into putting a Tattoo shop in the art distract of Mansfield and received quite an out pouring of friends and supporters. The first shop was down town with only three chairs, the second shop was five chairs in it. Now it’s larger than life itself, with 11 artists and two piercers.

We are a Tattoo shop with the utmost and talented artist around the metro Plex. Our Piercing team is the most experienced Piercers.

Being able to give our customers what they want for a tattoo or piercing, making sure they are happy for what they receive as well as the most in understanding there needs
